Underwriter

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTS TO:  Underwriting Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

A Mortgage Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing loans submitted and adhere to all federal & state regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Review, analyze and make sound credit decisions for Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA loan programs.
  • Must meet all federal, state and agency guidelines & investor requirements
  • Remain flexible and work with team members and management staff with detailed communication
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Ability to work in a paperless environment while meeting production standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related field or equivalent desired, but not required.
  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, minimum 2 years underwriting related experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This work is generally done sitting at a computer terminal and telephone. Employee must be willing to sit for long periods of time. It also requires routine walking, standing and stretching.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a professional office setting and may include a wide variety of personalities and abilities.


360 Help Desk Representative

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides service and support for our user base for the Encompass 360 LOS system, other third party systems, and assists with administrative support tasks relating to the Encopass360 system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

  • Provide first level end user helpdesk support for Encompass 360 software system and other related systems.  
  • Resolve first level end user incidents and support services in a timely manner.
  • Resolve users Encompass360 installation issues.
  • Escalate second level Encompass360 issues as needed.
  • Provide new LO and Processor training on Encompass360.
  • Manage New User Setup and Employee Terminations in Encompass360 and other systems (Fannie Mae, VA, Investor Websites, etc.)
  • Generate and distribute reports to improve company compliance and minimize unnecessary cure tolerances.
  • Participate in meetings, as needed, to support and resolve issues relating to Encompass360.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge and Experience with Encompass360 or another LOS a plus
  • College degree (Associates or Bachelors) a plus
  • Customer Support experience.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong Customer service skills
  • Ability to manage Help Desk tickets and user issues.
  • General Understanding of Encompass360 end user functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently deliver solutions and resolve issues.
  • Team-oriented, demonstrates a professional and cooperative attitude.
